I'm new to working with plywood and have mainly used Japanese saws for smaller projects. I just bought some plywood and was shocked at how tough it is to cut. It feels like my saws are getting ruined in the process. I'm looking for recommendations on the best tools to use for cutting plywood. Ideally, I'd like to make clean cuts, but I'm open to using heavier tools if necessary. I've also been thinking about investing in a table saw. Should I look for something simple to help me out now, or should I just go ahead and get a table saw?

A track saw is super versatile for breaking down sheet goods like plywood. While a table saw gives you great accuracy, a track saw might be your best bet for ease of use. I'd say start there, especially since you're looking for clean cuts.

I just checked out track saws based on your suggestion, and it seems like they have a lot of advantages over table saws for this type of work. Definitely adding one to my list!
