Best Way to Cut PVC Molding Without Melting?

I'm trying to figure out the best method for cutting PVC molding without encountering melting issues. I'm currently using a 10" 80-tooth blade, but I find that the plastic tends to stick to the blade, and sometimes the outer edge of the molding melts a bit. Anyone have tips or tricks to avoid this?

To get a clean cut without melting the edges, make sure that the finished edge of the molding is positioned away from the fence. You want the blade to cut from the front part towards the back. Also, knowing the exact profile you're working with can help. What profile are you using?

I had a similar issue in my workshop, but I was using a new sharp blade on a piece that was 3.5" wide and 1" thick. I cut quickly and didn't face any melting or sticking problems. So maybe consider using a sharp blade and maintaining a fast cutting pace?
