Hey everyone! I'm working on a project to create a fake overhead beam that's 3.3 meters long. I've got these nice 45-degree bevels cut on both pieces of wood that I need to join. However, I'm a bit stuck on how to glue them together so they stay perfectly aligned and have enough pressure while the glue sets, especially considering the length of the beam. I don't have a lot of fancy equipment, so any tips you can share would be super appreciated! Thanks a bunch!

One method that works well is to use strong tape across the joint, spaced out nicely along the length. Good masking tape usually works best since it doesn't leave a sticky residue. Just make sure to decide if you're going to glue it in position or if it’s easier to do it flat on the ground first!
I think doing it on the ground might be the way to go—it’ll give you a bit more control.
