Best Way to Mount a TV on Wood Paneling?

Asked By xY7q9tA! On

Hey everyone! I'm looking to mount a TV in my den and want to ensure it's at the right height for viewing. I'm worried if I mount it directly on the wall with the wood paneling, it'll look too high or just not secure enough, especially since I have little kids running around. I'd like to either put it above the wood paneling or consider a small stand, but I definitely want it safely tethered to the wall to prevent any accidents. Any advice on how to best approach this?

You might want to consider a recessed full motion articulating arm mount. This way, you can pull the TV off the wall a bit, which helps it fit nicely with the wood trim without looking awkward. It’ll also let you adjust the viewing angle!

That sounds interesting! Would something like this be a good option? [MantelMount Link](https://www.mantelmount.com/products/mm340-standard-mount?variant=28147660881). I’d love to find a cheaper option that allows for lowering to a comfortable eye level, though!
