Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on how to mount outdoor speakers on the back wall of my stucco house. I'm not sure if I can use studs for this, so I'm thinking about mounting directly onto the hollow stucco. Ideally, I want a solution where I can leave a bolt sticking out of the wall. This way, I won't have to replace the mount every time I need to take the speaker down. Each speaker is just under 10lbs, so I need a mounting option that can handle that weight. Thanks in advance for any tips!

You might want to check out Tapcon stucco screws (they're usually blue). They're sturdy and can hold a good amount of weight. Plus, you can leave them sticking out a bit so you can use eyehole mounts for your speakers, making it easier to take them down and put them back up without fuss.
Keep in mind that your house is likely not solid stucco; that’s just a finish over something like concrete block. You could use light duty masonry anchors, like the plastic cone-shaped ones that often come with towel racks. Just make sure they're rated for the weight of your speakers. If you're digging into hollow areas, those could work well!

I appreciate the info! I know there's lath under the stucco, and there's definitely no concrete block behind it. Just the weather-resistant barrier, lath, and then stucco. It’s all pretty lightweight stuff. Any specific anchor products you recommend?
