I just moved into a new place and noticed that the previous owner stuck some wooden planks onto the kitchen tile backsplash. It seems like they used double-sided tape alongside a strong adhesive, maybe something like Liquid Nails. I'm looking for recommendations on effective adhesive removers that won't require a ton of effort to use. Any tips?

It sounds like you're dealing with quite a mess! If the wooden planks are still up, I’d suggest trying to remove them first using a thin fishing line or wire to saw through the adhesive. That should help you get them off without damaging the tile. Once they're gone, you can tackle the leftover adhesive with a sharp razor blade scraper. For the stubborn bits, options like acetone, WD-40, vinegar, or rubbing alcohol could do the trick. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply and great suggestion! It's actually a type of wood planks. I'll definitely give your method a shot. Appreciate the help!
