I recently bought a house with beautiful 1940s stained glass windows, but the previous owners did a terrible job painting, and now there's white paint all over the edges. I'm looking for the safest, damage-free method to strip this paint without harming the vintage glass. Any tips?

If the paint is just around the edges, you could try using a razor blade to carefully scrape it off. Just be gentle and ensure the blade is clean before you start to avoid scratching the glass.

Is it safe to do that on rippled glass? Mine has a textured surface, and I’m worried about making scratches.
