I have a crack between my tub and the surrounding tiles, and I want to know the best way to seal it. What products should I use, and is there any specific cleaning process I need to follow before applying the sealant?

I recommend using mold-resistant silicone caulk. I used a product called Kraken, and it has worked great for me—no need for replacement since I applied it. Just remember to clean the area thoroughly before you apply the caulk!

You'll want to start by cleaning out any old caulk and debris from the crack. Filling the tub with water before sealing it is recommended because it helps to create a tight seal as the tub settles when full. Use 100% silicone caulk for the best results, and let the water stay in the tub until the caulk is completely dry.
