Best Way to Secure a Stone Countertop to a Cabinet?

Asked By CraftyNinja23 On

I'm setting up a little entry area with a small quartz stone countertop on top of a plywood cabinet. What's the best way to attach the countertop to the cabinet, especially since it won't be exposed to water? Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Definitely go with silicone! Just apply a few wavy lines on the surfaces that will be making contact. It's really effective, whether you're dealing with water exposure or not.

You can just use some big dabs of 100% silicone caulk to keep that countertop securely in place. It's a solid adhesive and, since your countertop isn't exposed to water in this area, it should do the trick!
