I'm struggling with sunlight flooding into my room during the first half of the day, making it really hard to work. I'm wondering if blinds would even work for my middle window. If I opt for curtains, should I go for a long custom-shaped one because of the arch? I've also heard about privacy film and I'm curious if that's worth trying. I'd appreciate any links or suggestions you might have!

Traditionally, the usual solutions for blocking out the sun are blinds, curtains, or pull-down shades. They each have their advantages depending on your style, but they can all help mitigate that glaring light!
You might want to check out window film! It acts like sunglasses for your windows and can block a lot of light while still allowing some visibility.
For the flat part, normal curtains or shades will work great. As for the arch, you can either leave it open or get specialized fixed shades made for arched windows, which you can find at stores like Lowe’s.

Totally get that! I’m aware of those options, but with that arch window shape, it gets a bit tricky, right?
