Best Ways to Cure Onions and Potatoes Without a Basement?

I'm growing onions and potatoes here in Georgia, but I'm unsure how to properly cure them since I don't have a basement. I know they typically need low humidity and temperatures around 50 to 60 degrees, but with our warm climate and humidity levels, that seems tricky. What are some methods to create a suitable curing environment for them?

Last year, I cured my garlic using cooling racks in a dark spot. I directed a fan at them non-stop for about two weeks, and it worked wonders! You might try something similar for your onions and potatoes since airflow is key.

You can actually cure onions in hot, dry conditions! I've successfully done it in my greenhouse and attic. Just make sure there's enough airflow.

I've managed to cure them in my garage too! I was surprised it worked, but it did!
