Hey everyone! I've got a 14kg (30 lb) mirror that I'd like to hang over my window frame. The reason is that I'm a bit paranoid about being seen from outside since this is my bedroom. While I know I could just use a curtain, I'm interested in trying to hang this mirror first. The problem is that the mirror's hanging points don't line up with the window frame itself, which makes me unsure about how to proceed. Here's a link to some pictures I took: imgur.com/a/DhTFEeF. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Have you thought about using mirrored window film instead? It’s really simple to cut it to size and apply it from the inside of the window. It gives you a cleaner look and comes in various mirrored styles, making it a more flexible option!
One thing you could try is adding a spacer and securing the mirror to the studs around the window rather than the window frame itself. This way, you can make sure the mirror sits flush against the frame, which should look great!

Sounds good! Can you recommend a type of spacer to use? I'm not quite sure what I should be looking for!
