Best Ways to Keep Deer Away from My Garden?

Asked By GardenGuru123 On

I'm trying to find effective solutions to keep deer from munching on my native plants in my Central Virginia garden. I've already tried using a deer spray that smells pretty foul, but it hasn't worked at all. What are some alternative methods or products that might actually deter them?

You might want to try another spray since some just wash off too easily. I've had great success with Bobbex—it keeps the deer away for months!

I'll definitely check that out!

If a fence isn't in your plans, just remember that all sprays need constant reapplication. I use Liquid Fence for my most vulnerable plants, but I have to stay on top of it, or the deer will eat everything!

Honestly, an 8-foot fence is the most effective solution. It's the only guaranteed way to keep them out for good!
