Best Ways to Mount a Hose Reel on a Roof Deck?

I'm looking to mount a hose reel on my townhome's roof deck and could use some advice. I'm considering options like a manual or automatic retracting hose reel, similar to the Giraffe Tools Hose Reel. Since it's a roof deck, traditional methods like putting a wood post in the ground won't work for me, and I'd prefer not to drill into the pilot house or roof walls if I can avoid it.

Currently, my plan is to use a 4x4 pressure treated wood post attached with u-bolts to one of the metal posts of my roof canopy, then mount the hose reel onto that. Here's what my roof deck looks like and a rough plan for the setup. I'm really curious if anyone has any other ideas or suggestions since I struggled to find similar projects for inspiration.

Have you thought about using beam clamps instead? They can give you a cleaner look, and you’d just bolt the clamp onto the canopy beam. Then, you can attach your wood post to the clamps, which should give you a sturdy base for your hose reel.

Thanks for the suggestion! Where exactly would I attach those clamps? Would they hold the wood post or should I mount the hose reel directly to them?
