Hey everyone! I'm new here and looking for some advice. A friend of mine runs a dog sitting business and just moved into a new rental home. There's a carpeted area that measures 13x22 feet that she needs to protect from all the dogs. Some suggestions floated around include using horse stall rubber mats and then covering them with vinyl flooring. The goal is to have it waterproof, durable, and visually appealing. However, I'm a bit unsure if that's the best route to take. Any better ideas or tips you can share? Thanks a bunch!

Has your friend talked to the landlord about running a business from there? That might be a risky situation! And just a reminder, they might need to replace the carpet when moving out, so be prepared for that expense.
Good question, I'll check with her about that! It’s tough finding affordable rentals in the area anyway.
