I was recently diagnosed with lupus and need to be careful about my sun and heat exposure. I have quite a few plants that need propagating and repotting, and I'm curious about the best methods for doing this indoors. Any tips on how to keep the mess to a minimum?

I usually sit on my kitchen floor and use an extra-large cat litter tray to catch all the soil and mess. It works pretty well, and I just sweep up any overflow when I'm done!
I like to use a foldable potting mat on my dining room table or the floor. I mix the soil in a plastic bin, then I can just fold the mat and dump any extra soil back in the bin once I finish, which makes cleanup super easy.
I usually go with a large plastic bin for my repotting, but I still end up spilling soil everywhere! So, I've got the bin and a vacuum handy for quick clean-ups. It's a bit of a chore, but it works!
