Best Ways to Salvage Items Before Demolition?

I'm in the process of planning to demolish an old house to build a new one. We have several appliances like the washer, dryer, oven, and refrigerator that are still in decent shape. Rather than going through the hassle and expense of storing them, I'm wondering if there are services that can come by, assess what they can take, and handle the removal all at once. Ideally, I'd like to get some cash out of this too! Any recommendations?

If you're in the US, Habitat for Humanity has a service where they'll come by and remove items like appliances, cabinets, and fixtures for free, but they won't pay you since they're a charity. If you're looking to make some cash, you might want to contact a used appliance company. Just keep in mind they likely won't offer much as they have set prices for resale. Alternatively, Facebook Marketplace can be a great avenue, but it means selling everything piece by piece, which could be time-consuming.

Absolutely, Habitat usually takes everything they can reuse or resell! It's a good option if you're not in a rush.
