I'm a big fan of Osmo products like Polyx, but I've had some issues with the containers, especially the lids. They seem pretty flimsy and don't seal well after I've opened and closed them a few times. I'm looking for tips on how to better seal my Osmo cans. Do you guys transfer the product to other containers, like StopLoss bags or something similar? Any advice on how to store leftover Polyx between projects would be greatly appreciated!

For all my paints and finishes, I use Finish Preserve from Lee Valley. It's a gas that displaces oxygen in the container, which helps a lot. Just a quick 2-3 second burst does the trick. I haven't had any issues with my Tung Oil or rubber cement hardening since I started using it!
I just saw that the product picture on Lee Valley's site has an Osmo container in the background!
I usually pour my leftover Polyx into mason jars and vacuum seal them for storage. It keeps everything fresh until I need to use it again!
Does the gas stay in there even if the lid isn’t completely sealed?
