I'm looking for some guidance on creating and securing a sign for a homemade sign stand made from PVC pipe. Does anyone know where to find a sign that fits, and what the best methods are for attaching it securely? I've got a photo of the empty sign stand here: https://imgur.com/a/unzUFWV.

As a sign guy, I suggest a few options:
1. Use a banner that fits snugly inside the frame and bungee it in – this is the most budget-friendly but might not last long.
2. Consider using aluminum laminated polyurethane panels, which are light and won’t weigh down your stand. You can screw these into your frame for a solid hold.
3. If you want something fun, go for a ‘bag sign’ by using larger banners that you can lash together and slip over your frame. A sign shop can help you make that with grommets for added security! Hope that helps!
A great option would be to use a vinyl banner with grommets. You can attach it with those stretchy bungee cords that have the balls on the ends, which works pretty well! Just make sure the banner is the right size for your frame.
You might want to measure the inside dimensions of your stand and then find a banner that’s slightly smaller. If you’re open to choices, using a piece of coroplast or plywood with grommets and zap straps can also secure your sign nicely, especially for outdoor use where wind is a factor.
