I've recently installed these solid insulation panels around my AC unit to cover the accordion wings on the inside, and I'm really happy with their performance. However, I'm looking for a more effective way to attach them to the AC unit and window frame than using just tape here and there. What methods or materials do people usually recommend for securing these panels tightly for a better seal? Thanks in advance!

I actually use exterior painter's tape to hold my window unit in place. It’s not the prettiest option since the tape is yellow, but it definitely does the job without leaving marks on the window.

Yeah, it doesn’t look great, but if it's effective, that's what matters. I’m just looking for something that’s better than regular tape but still won’t damage the paint or PVC when I take it off.
