I'm looking for effective strategies to control weeds in my raised garden beds. What methods work best to keep them at bay?

The simplest way to control weeds is to pull them by hand. Try to do it about once a week, and it shouldn't take more than 30 minutes to an hour for a thorough job. Keep everything manageable!
In addition to pulling them out, think about planting low cover plants which will grow over time and help block out the sunlight that weeds need to thrive. It’s a longer-term strategy but pays off!
Using mulch is a game changer! It helps not just with weed control, but also keeps the soil temperature steady and retains moisture. Plus, as it breaks down, it adds nutrients back to your plants. Just make sure to apply a decent layer, like 4 inches, and consider laying down cardboard underneath if you really want to prevent weeds.
Some of those look like fruit trees? I don't think you want to mulch too much around them if I recall?
Username checks out.
And moisture retention keeps the soil soft enough that weeds just pop right out, roots and all!

Five minutes for the raised beds. OP is just lazy.
