I'm dealing with a stubborn clogged shower drain in my old apartment. I've tried using Drano and some flexible snakes I bought from Amazon, but they only go in halfway and don't seem to bring anything back out. The first time this happened, I managed to pull out a big hairball, which helped temporarily, but now it's clogging again and I'm at a loss. What are some effective methods to unclog it?

You might want to grab a 50-foot snake from Home Depot that you can connect to your drill. These drum snakes are really effective, especially when you can use a cordless drill to help get it down the drain. Give it a try!
I had the same issue, and using a drill with a snake made all the difference for me!
If you’re in an apartment, it might be a good idea to just call your landlord and have a plumber handle it. Sometimes DIY stuff like Drano can make it worse and lead to bigger issues.
I use a specific snake that’s really effective for unclogging showers. It's a 25-ft auger with an autofeed trigger—makes it much easier to dig into whatever’s stuck. Just be careful with it and maybe check this product out at Home Depot.
I tried that one too! It worked great on my drain and pulled out a ton of hair and gunk.

Exactly! Those drum snakes are a game-changer for tough clogs. Just make sure you've got a good grip on it.
