I'm fed up with weed whacker string feed mechanisms that drive me crazy. Every time I use one, it feels like I'm stopping every 10 seconds to take the head apart and refeed the string, making them almost unusable. Is there a brand or model out there that doesn't have this issue? I'm open to electric or gas options!

My EGO trimmer is really easy to use and has a great string feed system. No issues at all!
You might be using your line too quickly. Most bump feed heads work fine if used right!

The Echo speed feed head is a game changer! You just line up the arrows, feed the string in, and give it a twist to load. It's super quick, takes under a minute to reload, and the bump feature works perfectly. I’d give it a 10/10!

Have you checked that you're wrapping the string in the right direction? It can make a difference! Also, try not to wrap it too tight on the spindle; keeping it a bit loose can help it feed better.
