Can a Torch Nitrus Sawzall Blade Cut Cast Iron Pipe?

I'm trying to cut a 2-inch cast iron pipe that was likely installed back in the 1940s. Unfortunately, I don't have enough clearance to use a grinder with a metal cutoff wheel. Will the Torch Nitrus Sawzall blade actually do the job?

I typically use Lenox metal blades for steel. Cast iron can be tricky but for a single cut, you don’t really need to spend big bucks on a new blade. If your current blades are somewhat worn, you could probably use those until they get dull—just make sure to check out this video on bimetal versus cast iron for a better idea of what's effective!

I highly recommend using Diablo metal blades. They’ve served me well in some crazy cutting projects. They might be pricier, but they're worth it for cutting through tough materials.

I'm not sure if the Torch Nitrus can handle cast iron, but if it were me, I’d either go for a chain break to snap the pipe or just stick a big disc on a grinder and get to work! It might be a bit more effort, but worth considering if you're in a tight spot.
