Can BBMS Really Charge LFP Batteries Better Than Others?

Has anyone looked into what BBMS (Battery Bank Management System) means when they say they charge Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries correctly while others don't? I've seen some of their videos discussing a superior charging profile, but I'm curious if anyone here has tried it. I've read enough positive reviews to trust that the device works well, but does it really deliver on its claims? For context, this kit allows you to connect older equipment powered by lead-acid batteries to a hybrid battery setup with LFP batteries. Just to clarify, I'm not affiliated with BBMS—I'm just interested in potentially using their product. Thanks in advance!

I think you might be looking at the cost of the setup, which can run around $380 for the bank manager. One thing to keep in mind is the age of your lead-acid batteries. If they're older than five years, I'd recommend dodging them. It's often better to let them go instead of trying to save them, even with cleaning and topping off fluids. Just my two cents!

That's a fair point, but some older equipment has solid, heavy-duty components that are tough to find these days, especially those made in the USA.

I remembered hearing about this on Clarks Adventures' YouTube channel, but it looks like the video I mentioned may have been taken down. I wish I could help more!
