I've got some plants in the ground, including bulbs and seeds that I planted about a month ago, and I'm noticing a lot of weeds popping up. Is it possible to put bark mulch over the soil without harming the plants underneath?

Yes, you can definitely use bark mulch! I tried wood chips last year, but I personally prefer straw or hay for mulching. It's a budget-friendly option too; I usually grab hay bales discarded after Thanksgiving. My brother uses salt marsh hay, and his garden looks fantastic!
That sounds great! Would the Westland Landscape Bark be a good choice for this? It has a wood chipping texture.
