Hey everyone! I'm trying to turn my warehouse space into an art studio, but the concrete floor is super dusty and not great for health. I don't need the finish to be perfect; I just want something to help reduce the dust. Is there an easy DIY resin or epoxy solution that I can just apply with a mop or something similar? I already have respirators and replacement filters, but I'm looking for advice on the actual sealing process. Thanks in advance!

You might just need a concrete sealer. That's what I used in my basement when it was super dusty, and it worked wonders! It's easy to apply with a paint roller, and costs around 20 bucks a gallon.
I've done DIY epoxy floors before, and it’s not as hard as it seems! Just keep in mind that if you skip the prep work, it might not stick well in the long run. Cleaning is key!
You can find kits at your local hardware store that make it easy to apply. Just search for floor epoxy paint on websites like Home Depot!
Honestly, the prep work is crucial for any floor coating. Epoxy can get pricey, so I’d recommend opting for garage floor paint instead. You can easily apply it with a roller once you've prepped the surface.
Absolutely! Start by cleaning thoroughly—sweep and mop, and if you can, pressure wash the floor. This will really help reduce the dust. Then, you can go ahead and paint it.
I think something like Sealkrete could work! They have some one-part floor paint that might be perfect for your needs.

Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely look into that.
