I'm trying to find a way to connect my older style M18 wet/dry vacuum to my Packout setup. I previously bought a kit from Etsy, but it didn't fit right and now I've accidentally damaged my vacuum box with holes. Does anyone know of a better solution, or should I just carry the vacuum separately when I'm on the truck?

You might also consider the Packout cleats; they can help with securing your vacuum instead. But if you're looking for hassle-free, just go with the official Packout adapter for the best results!
Honestly, I've struggled to find any compatible latches for the Packout. I ended up just buying the actual Packout version for my vacuum and it works like a charm. Definitely worth the investment!
It sounds like you might want to check out some DIY solutions. I found a guide online about modifying the M18 wet/dry vac for Packout compatibility, but results can vary depending on the attachments. It's worth a look!

I tried a similar kit to the one mentioned, and yeah, it didn't work out for me either. Had to improvise a bit!
