I just bought a Waterdrop G3P-600 and I'm planning to move it to my new house. I'm interested in running the RO system's output to my fridge, but the distance is a bit tricky. The fridge is quite a distance from the sink in my kitchen. Waterdrop does sell a small pressure tank for up to 16-foot runs, but I'm not sure if it will work with my layout. I have two options:
Option A: I could run it from the water main in the basement to the fridge. The challenge here is that there's no nearby drain; I'd either have to run a drain line across the basement or use a bucket to collect water.
Option B: Alternatively, I could run the line from the sink, but since the fridge is across the room and not part of the cabinetry, I'd have to figure out how to hide the exposed line along the floor or ceiling. Any advice on how to make this work? Thanks!

You can probably just tap into the RO system's output and send it straight to the fridge. If you're concerned about water pressure, you might want to consider adding a small accumulator tank later on. Typically, RO systems use the pressure from the tap water, and booster pumps are really meant to improve water production, not distance covered.
I thought the same at first, but I'm worried about running the line since it's across the kitchen. Not sure where I could hide it without exposing it.
Have you thought about running a line down from the sink, into the basement, across, and back up to the fridge? It could be a neat solution without exposing too much of the line.

Yeah, I realized I misspoke too! The tank they offer actually allows for runs up to 16 feet. I'll have to look into that!
