Hey everyone! I recently came across an old two-man saw that measures about 1.40 meters long. I'm hoping to restore it and actually use it, but I've noticed that it's quite thin and bendable, making it difficult to operate solo. Is there any way to adapt this saw for single-person use? I'd appreciate any tips or suggestions. Thanks!

Honestly, it’s a bit strange to try and convert a two-man saw into a single-man saw. You’d likely end up with a poor version of the original saw and a lot of hassle. Maybe just consider getting a dedicated single-man saw instead.
Yeah, a two-man saw cuts in both directions because it relies on two people; that’s why the blade is thin. If you try to use it by yourself, it may not perform well at all.
The reason it’s thin and bendable is that it’s designed for two people. You could potentially add a back spine to stiffen it, but honestly, with all that effort, you’d probably be better off just buying a proper single-man saw.
