Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a long M8 wood drill bit that fits an SDS chuck, but can't seem to find one that's 130mm long. I noticed I can get a Hex M8 bit at my local hardware store that's the right length. Is there a simple way to adapt my SDS chuck to work with Hex bits? Any advice would be appreciated!

Check out this converter: [link to chuck adapter]. It can handle that transition well and works for different bit sizes. Just remember that sometimes these adapters can add a bit of wobble, so it's good to test your setup before diving into any big projects!
You might want to look into getting a chuck adapter! They can convert an SDS chuck to accept Hex bits pretty easily. Just make sure to choose one that fits your SDS size. Some popular options you can find online or in local stores should do the trick.
