Can I Daisy Chain Battery Packs for My Solar Pond Pump?

Hey everyone! I have a solar-powered pond pump with a 25W solar panel and a 2600mAh battery pack. Plus, I got a 16ft DC extender to reach my tree where the pump is located. We live in Arizona, so there's tons of sunlight all day. I'm curious if it's possible to daisy chain battery packs to keep my pond pump running through the night. Is this a good idea or am I missing something crucial? I'd love to hear your thoughts since I only have a basic understanding of solar systems.

I'd need more details to give solid advice. If your solar panel and battery come as a set, then you can add batteries in parallel (positive to positive, negative to negative), but avoid connecting them in series. If you're not sure about the specifics, sharing links to your equipment would help!

You shouldn't daisy chain the batteries but instead connect them in parallel. Just make sure they're all the same voltage! That way you can keep your system running smoothly without any issues.

Honestly, as someone living in AZ too, going solar is a great way to save on electricity costs! If your pump is small, you might find that just one good battery could be enough to power it overnight. You don't necessarily need to stack multiple batteries.
