I've been struggling to germinate eggplant seeds as I can't get consistent heat. I don't want to use a heat pad since it seems unnecessary. My thought was to put the seeds in my PC to take advantage of the heat it generates while running. My room is also warmer than the outside conditions where I initially tried germinating them.
However, I'm concerned about a few things: how to prevent moisture from affecting my computer components if I use small containers with soil, and whether I need to provide sunlight or if I can just move them outside once the first leaves appear. Any other tips would be appreciated!

If your room is warm enough, eggplant seeds can germinate without needing extra heat. But once they sprout, they'll need light right away to avoid becoming leggy. Honestly, placing seeds inside your PC isn't the best idea; you don’t want any soil or moisture around your components.

I see, so I can just put them outside after they sprout?
