I'm shortsighted and rely on prescription glasses, but I love my sunglasses and the lenses are just right for me. I'm curious if there's a way to make these sunglasses work for my prescription without having to swap out the lenses. Is that even possible?

I think there's a bit of confusion here. If your sunglasses aren't prescription lenses, but the tint is perfect, then unfortunately, I don't think you can convert them. Typically, you'd have to reshape the lenses for your prescription, which might end up ruining them.
One thing to consider is that polarized prescription sunglasses can sometimes mess with visibility on screens, like phones. So, while they can be great outdoors, just keep in mind they might not be ideal for screen time. I prefer clearer lenses for detailed work!
Not the answer you might want, but have you thought about those clip-on shades? They’re removable and can easily be used over your regular prescription glasses when you need some sun protection!
Unfortunately, you can't just pop in prescription lenses into your existing sunglasses. You'll likely need to take them to an optometrist who can send the frames out to have tinted prescription lenses made to fit. They should let you know if it can be done based on your sunglasses' design!

Totally agree! I had a similar issue with my new polarized sunglasses—thought my device was malfunctioning until I took them off. Just gotta watch out for that!
