Can I Get Tomatillo Fruits with Just 4 Hours of Sun?

I'm growing tomatillos on my balcony, which receives about 4 hours of direct sunlight daily. They've sprouted quickly and are showing true leaves, but their growth seems to have stalled recently. I'm curious if anyone has successfully harvested fruit from tomatillos with this amount of light or if I'm just wasting my efforts. I'd appreciate any tips, especially since I'm new to this!

You might be disappointed in your yield with only 4 hours of sunlight. Tomatillos typically thrive with more direct sun. They could grow to a decent size but might struggle to produce fruit without more light. So, brace yourself for that possibility!

Oh no! That’s not what I wanted to hear! Do you think they’ll grow but just won’t produce any fruits? I see some people using shade cloth on their plants, and that got me wondering about light requirements.
