Can I Get Warranty on Milwaukee Tools Bought from eBay or Facebook Market?

I'm curious if I can still get a warranty for Milwaukee tools that I buy from eBay or Facebook Marketplace. I've never bought from these platforms before because I thought Milwaukee might require proof of purchase, but I'm not entirely sure. I haven't had any tools fail on me, so I'm not familiar with the warranty process. If anyone has experience with this, could you share if buying from these sources affects warranty claims? Thanks!

You can usually get warranty service on Milwaukee tools even if you bought them from eBay or Facebook Marketplace. Just don’t mention where you got it, and if they ask, say you don't have a receipt. They might honor the warranty from the date of manufacture instead of the purchase date.

I bought a Milwaukee tool on eBay and didn’t have any issues with claiming the warranty. I just used the serial number, and they processed it without asking for proof of where I bought it.

I’ve heard mixed things about this. In my experience, you might hit a wall getting warranty service if you don’t have proof of purchase. It’s best to check directly with Milwaukee to see what their policy is for tool purchases from those platforms.
