Can I Grow a Monstera in My Windowless Basement with Grow Lights?

Hey plant enthusiasts! I'm setting up a cozy home office, but the only space I have is a windowless basement (the kids took the nice attic!). I want to fill it with plants to make it inspiring, especially using some grow lights. I'm thinking about getting two **Sansi 24W E27 LED grow lights**. My questions are:

1. Can a **Monstera** survive and grow with just one of these lights plus some extra ambient lighting? If monstera isn't ideal, what other plants do well in low light?
2. Would a lampshade help diffuse the light nicely, or would it block too much?
3. Is it okay to use a regular IKEA floor lamp with a grow bulb for reading and plant growth?

I'd appreciate any tips on making a basement plant-friendly or experiences with grow lights in non-traditional spots! Thanks! ?

Honestly, it's tough to grow a Monstera in a basement like that without serious lighting. Those grow lights are decent, but for real thriving, you'll need more powerful options. Just keep in mind it might not look as nice with the setup you'll need to achieve good growth.

Yeah, I feel you on the aesthetics. It's a tricky balance between function and style.
