Can I Grow Moss on My Window Sill Without It Taking Over?

I'm new to gardening and I'm curious about growing moss on my window sill. I want to create an aesthetically pleasing arrangement but I'm a bit worried about the moss taking root on the sill itself. I could make a custom grid or frame to help control its growth. Is this feasible? Also, how does caring for moss compare to traditional houseplants? Any tips on species and setup would be appreciated!

A small terrarium is a great idea for maintaining the right conditions for your moss without risking mold on your sill. It can keep your setup controlled and looking neat! Using a grid-like structure can help you manage it too.

That sounds perfect! I just want to make sure it looks like a nice carpet rather than a wild patch. Thanks for the tip!
