I'm planning to grow Sungold cherry tomatoes next year, but I'm running out of garden space. Is it feasible to plant them in a hanging basket? Or if I have an outdoor rack, could I put a container on the top shelf? Will they spill over, or do they have to be grown upright with support? Any tips would be appreciated!

I had a couple in a 6-foot zip greenhouse, and trust me, I had to keep pruning them because they grew so big. It's definitely doable, but just keep an eye on their height!
Hanging baskets might not work since these plants can grow super tall—like, mine reached 7 feet this year! A grow bag could be your best bet. Just make sure to keep them well-fed and watered!
Wow that's tall! Thanks for the tip!
I actually plant my Sungolds right in flower beds with the flowers, and I also use big pots, around 30cm x 30cm. They just need to be well-watered and fed weekly. You’ll get some really tasty tomatoes that way!

What size were your pots and how many plants did you put in each one?
