Hey everyone! I'm looking to mount a large flat screen TV on a wall that currently has a light fixture installed. I'm wondering if I can have the electrical wiring for the TV connected directly to the same circuit as the light. Would this cause any issues in terms of compatibility with the wiring or fuse rating back at the electrical box? Any insights would be appreciated!

Good call on getting an electrician involved! It’s definitely better to leave this to the pros if you're unsure. Better safe than sorry when it comes to electrical work!
It really depends on how the light is wired up. If the light switch uses a switch leg, then you might be able to do it. But if it doesn’t, it’s probably a no-go. Make sure you double-check the wiring before proceeding!
