Hey everyone! I'm looking for advice because our bedroom is an addition to our house and it doesn't have any ceiling wiring—it's just the roof above the drywall. We're sweltering in there without any AC vents! Is there a way to put in a ceiling fan or maybe some other kind of cooling solution? Any suggestions would be super helpful!

Is there a window in the addition? If so, getting a window AC unit might be your best bet! It's a game changer for cooling down those hot spaces.
Whoa! I love the idea of combining magnets with a fan—that’s a creative hack! Just remember to prioritize safety first when you're trying out new things!
I’m not exactly sure what you mean by 'magnetic' fan, but you could consider installing a fan by finding a stud in the ceiling. There are options like a ceiling fan that hangs from a hook. Just make sure to check the weight limit if you're going that route! Check out this fan for ideas: [Home Depot Fan](https://www.homedepot.com/pep/HINNIXY-42-in-Outdoor-Black-Waterproof-Ceiling-Fan-with-Lights-and-Remote-Control-6-Speeds-3-CCT-Hook-Hung-IP65-Ceiling-Fans-F-DX42BK-1D01HD/335227976). Hope that helps!
If there's no ceiling wiring, maybe a wall-mounted fan could be a good solution for you. It can help circulate air without needing ceiling access.

Definitely look into the mounting options for safety!
