Hey everyone, I'm getting ready to install my solar setup, but I'm still waiting on my battery to arrive. I have a day off today and want to do as much installing as I can. Is it safe to put my 100W solar panel on the roof and leave it disconnected for a day or two? Will it cause any problems? Thanks!

No worries, you can totally install the panel without hooking it up to anything! Just keep the connectors safe from rain or moisture while you wait for your other equipment to arrive. The sun hitting the panel won't hurt it at all, and it won't do any harm being idle for a bit.
Definitely okay! Mine were up on the roof for four months before getting connected, and they worked perfectly fine when we finally hooked them up. Just make sure to check any bare wires to avoid issues, but a short time without being connected won’t hurt them!

Sweet! Glad to know they can handle it. I had mine lying around for six months before they got installed, and they’re still doing great!
