I just bought a 5.2 cu ft LG ventless washer dryer combo for an incredible deal, but it doesn't quite fit in my new condo. It sticks out about 5 inches from the closet, and I'm considering installing it sideways. This way, one side would be against the wall, and the door would open inwards. I believe the spacing would still work, and the sliding doors could close. Plus, the back would face the water and power connections, which is a bonus. Is this a crazy idea? Has anyone done something similar? Got any photos to share? Please help!

Honestly, if it’s not fitting right, it might be better to just return it and look for something that suits your space better. But if you're set on making this one work, just ensure it’s installed properly!
As long as your hoses connect properly and the exhaust is secured, you can definitely rotate it however you need! Just make sure it’s standing upright, and you should be good to go.
You can definitely do that! Just make sure the door is designed to open inwards when you're rotating it—most units allow for this. Just a heads up, putting it on its side sounds risky because the drain valve needs to be at the bottom to prevent flooding.
