Can I Keep Plants in a Windowless Bathroom?

I'm looking for some house plants that can survive in a bathroom with no windows. Is it even possible to keep live plants in there, or is that just wishful thinking? Maybe some low-light options or something else entirely?

You definitely need light for plants to thrive, just like we need water. Grow lights are a solid investment if you're committed to keeping real plants, otherwise maybe just go for the fake ones to brighten up the space!

If you really want a plant, a snake plant could handle low light, but you might need to rotate it in from another room every week. I've had success with that in my powder room when I used grow lights. They really do help!

Unfortunately, plants rely on photosynthesis, so without light, they're going to struggle to survive. If you don't want to invest in a grow light, I'd suggest going for fake plants or even mushrooms as a quirky alternative!

Honestly, mushrooms might be a fun option! I prefer them over fake plants.
