Can I Leave My Sansi Light Timer On While I’m Away?

I'm feeling a bit anxious about leaving my succulents and a Venus fly trap for two weeks while I go on holiday. It's my first time leaving them since I got them, and I have a Sansi clip light with a timer that I plan to use. Unfortunately, I can't keep my blinds up because I'm on the ground floor, and I want to avoid any potential break-ins. I'm thinking of setting the Sansi light to run for six hours a day, but I'm worried about leaving an appliance on and off like that. How common is this, and should I take any safety precautions?

You should be just fine! As long as you keep your plants well-watered, they'll be okay. I used my Sansi light on a timer for two weeks while I was away, and there were no issues at all. Just make sure it’s getting the right amount of water before you leave!

I've done something similar with a stronger LED panel, and it worked perfectly for a week. The timer is great because it keeps the light cycle consistent, whether you're home or not. Your plants will thank you for the light!

I’m planning to try a timer this week too, since my succulents have looked much healthier since using grow lights. I’d rather not burden others with taking care of them while I’m gone!
