Can I Make a Battery-Powered Table Lamp with an E14 Socket?

Hey everyone! I'm currently working on a small reading/table lamp that I'd like to power with batteries. I'm in Europe, and I'm curious if it's possible to use a standard E14 lightbulb for this project. I was thinking I might need 230v from a battery, but I'm not sure. Is there a more efficient way to approach this? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

If you're up for some DIY, you could take apart a regular bulb and swap in a single LED with a current limiting resistor. You'd be able to power it from a small power bank depending on how bright you want it!

I suggest just getting a big battery pack, like a 25,600mAh one, and use those flexible USB lamps. You can charge your phone with it while using it too! Super convenient!

Honestly, it might be easier to find a bulb that operates on lower DC voltages instead of trying to convert battery power to 230VAC and back. You can easily find 12VDC E14 bulbs online. They're often used in RVs and mobile homes, so pairing one with a 12V battery pack could give you a solid portable lamp!

You actually don't need 230v for LED lamps! They can run on much lower voltages, typically from 5v to 18v DC. I built a prototype that works with an 18v power tool battery pack, and it works great!
