I'm curious if it's feasible to fit either a Raspberry Pi Zero or a Seeed XIAO ESP32-S3 Sense inside an Xbox controller to use it as a makeshift security camera. I would love to keep the controller intact and functioning, ideally making the modifications so that it's not obvious that it has been altered. Any thoughts?

I can see this working if you're crafty! Just remember, you might have to modify the internal structure a bit for the camera lens to fit properly. Try to keep everything as discreet as possible, maybe drilling a small hole for the lens while leaving the rest of the controller in its original shape.
That's an interesting project! If you want to keep the controller intact, you might need to be really careful about how you position the components. The Raspberry Pi Zero is quite small, and the ESP32 could fit depending on the controller model. Just make sure there's enough space for ventilation and wires without blocking buttons or the battery compartment.
Yeah, and don't forget to think about how you'll power it. You might need a small battery or even tap into the controller's power if it's not going to compromise anything.

Good point! Adjusting the shell for a clean lens cut could really help keep it stealthy. Just be super precise to maintain the aesthetic!
