Can I Move My Well Head to Build a Garage?

I'm dealing with a well head that's about three feet above ground, and I really want to relocate it so I can build a garage in its place. The actual well is located about 50 feet away on the other side of my house. Is there any possibility to move it? Thanks for the help!

curious_mind99: I checked and it seems like it might be abandoned since I'm getting no volts when I hooked it up to a multimeter. Do I need to run water through it to confirm?
