I'm facing a bit of a dilemma with my walls; they're in pretty rough shape with blisters, cracks, screw holes, and other issues. I'm planning to angle grind and skim coat them, but I know I won't be able to tackle the entire wall in one day since I'm doing everything myself. Is it possible to work on the wall in sections, say a quarter at a time, without ending up with noticeable seams, or at least achieve a decent finish?

For sure! Even pro painters often have to take things slow. You can totally do it in sections without too much hassle, just make sure to handle the grinding and prep work first. That way, when you do get around to painting, you’ll have a nice, smooth finish.
Absolutely, you can work in stages! Just spread out the grinding and patching over however many days you need. Skim-coating is something you want to do quickly once you get the hang of it. Trust me, the first time I did it, I needed about 9 coats to get it right! Focus on technique rather than just the area.
Why not take your time and prep the whole wall first? Go over it to fix all those blisters, cracks, and holes to make sure it's paint-ready. Once that's done, just paint the entire wall in one go. If you paint in sections, you might end up seeing where you started and stopped, which could look pretty messy.
