I'm planning to plant potatoes in my small garden and I'm considering putting them in between my lettuce plants. Is this a bad idea, or will it harm the lettuce in any way?

Harmful? Not at all! Depending on where you live, just keep an eye out for slugs since they might thrive in that setup. Otherwise, it should be totally fine to plant them together!
I love the idea of interplanting to make the most of your garden space! I haven't tried the potato-lettuce combo personally, but it seems like a good match.
I say go for it! If you time it right, the lettuce will be fully grown before the potatoes get big enough to compete for resources.

What cool combos have you tried so far? This is my first season planting, and I'm really excited for spring!
